Primarily worked on Mergers and Acquisitions, assisting in the negotiation and signing of the Co-Investment Agreement, Lease Purchase Agreements for ILVA S.p.A(Italy) with Khaitan and Associates. Assisted in the due-diligence of BRPL Ltd.(Stemcor) and in the drafting of the share purchase agreement with Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. Further, vetted High Value Contracts such as Gas and Equipment Supply/Service Agreements, coordinated with Pinsent Masons LLP on the purchase of High Grade Zinc from Iran. Drafted termination and reply letters to be sent to various equipment and material suppliers due to contract non-compliance.

Worked on researching for bills tabled in the parliament including the Juvenile Justice Act, the Anti-Hijacking Bill, the Commercial Courts Bill. It also involved researching on cyber security, safety and other constitutional matters.

Worked on research related to competition law matters with prominent companies engaged in disputes . The internship involved working on civil law matters pertaining to insolvency, real estate, financing at the Delhi High Court and Supreme Court.

Assisted the institute in the preparation of a seminar relating to issues concerning the management of Global Climate Change. Worked on research work related to environmental law, public international law and the law of the seas.

Worked to assist on a research paper dealing with issues of international tax avoidance, transfer tax, intangible tax, mergers, General Anti-avoidance rules (GAAR), double tax avoidance agreements etc. I also worked on a project for the integration of economic and financial laws and policies within the South Asian region.
