Saurabh Singh, a post Graduate in Chemistry, having 25 years of experience in the field of Disaster Management in the Government Sector. Presently he holds the post of Deputy Director at MP State Disaster Management Authority, Department of Home, Government of Madhya Pradesh, Bhopal, India. Prior to this assignment, he has served Disaster Management Institute, Bhopal for 18 years and s a senior faculty member, conducted more than 500 capacity building programme in DM at State and National level. Has conducted Risk Analysis of Industrial/manmade and natural hazards and guided a team of professionals in preparation of District Disaster Management plans of 51 Districts using GIS platform and other tools.He has also conducted Environmental Impact Assessment of Industrial Areas and Social Impact Assessment of Government schemes. Presently working on Disaster Risk Reduction and Urban Risk Mitigation programmes, School Safety and Hospital Safety programmes of NDMA.
