Client - ExxonMobilWorked with ExxonMobil Wells engineering team.As the lead engineer for the US Central Plunger Lift Surveillance and Optimisation project, I was responsible for optimising plunger lift operations. This project's primary objective was to minimize downtime, increase production, and reduce field intervention. We achieved this by leveraging the real-time data obtained from SCADA software and using the oil and gas data management software to analyze and interpret the data.Our team implemented several strategies to optimize the plunger lift operations, including predictive maintenance, real-time monitoring, and timely intervention. By having a real-time monitoring system in place, we could identify potential issues before they escalated into costly downtime. We also used predictive maintenance algorithms to monitor equipment conditions and recommended maintenance schedules.In conclusion, the US Central Plunger Lift Surveillance and Optimization project was a success, and we were able to optimize plunger lift operations by minimizing downtime, increasing production, and reducing field intervention. The use of real-time data from SCADA software and oil and gas data management software like WellView and Petrel was instrumental in achieving these results.
