As a Senior Director of Product Management at SAP, I led a team of Product Managers that defined the strategy and roadmap across the Analytics portfolio (including Web Intelligence, Explorer, BI Cloud, and Lumira). We were also responsible for driving revenue and adoption by working with the field and customers across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The position required a balance of business and technical skill as well as the ability to work with customers, marketing, engineering and sales to gather market requirements, drive product direction and ultimately ensure customer adoption and revenue growth. Responsibilities included driving the vision and direction of the product, working regularly with customers to understand their requirements, working with sales and marketing to effectively position and market the product, and working very closely with engineering throughout the product development cycle.

As a Product Manager and then Senior Product Manager at Business Objects, I was responsible for leading the creation of a new in-memory product whose goal was to make Business Intelligence accessible to more business users. I oversaw customer, market and competitive research to define the requirements for this product (eventually named ‘Business Objects Explorer’), collaborated with the UX team to design the user experience, and successfully launched the product to market. Over the course of 2007-2009, I led revenue growth of Explorer from zero to an annual rate of over 50 million euros by 2009.

I co-founded Kronofusion Technologies in 2000. Our goal was to enable remote access to files on your computer via mobile devices (using WML at the time). During the early beginnings of Cloud services, we took an innovative approach to provide a connection between the mobile device and your computer to allow remote access to desktop computers. Our goal was to develop a software application that was easy to set up and use for any business user. We created a private-labeled implementation of our software with the goal of developing partnerships with ISPs to bring our service to their customers.As Founder, I grew the company from a start-up to 30 employees and raised multiple rounds of funding totaling nearly 2 million dollars. While on the Board of Directors we took the company public on the TSX venture exchange in Canada.
