I'm a climate professional with over 18 years of professional work experience in project management & development, managing & developing novel work profiles under climate & disaster risks, and deploying impact studies with a focus on bridging science to policy gap in preparing for future climate hazards, assisting science driven policy making as well as assisting business solutions. I currently lead the Climate risk Initiative at CRISIL. In past I have had led physical risk work profile at ESG business practice within KPMG-India, led scientific modelling center at TERI and managed multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary team of scientific programmers, meteorologists, risk modelers, vulnerability analysts, hydrologists & social scientists. I have 12+ years of project experience of working with international, national and sub-national governments involving continuous financial planning within the organization and gauging the public policy problem to draft relevant scientific answers. Functionally, I have worked in the government, private and non-Government sectors in the field of climate change. I have been active in raising awareness quotient on various climate change issues via op-eds, interviews, twitter space chats and instructional videos. I also served as a guest faculty at TERI school of advance studies and Tata Institute of Social Sciences. I have a deep understanding of the climate impact and policy framework in India and share a vast network with the regulatory, academia and industrial stakeholders.
