As a Certified Energy Auditor (CEA), MBA, and B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering, I have the credentials and competencies to design and implement effective energy policies and programmes that aim to reduce carbon emissions, enhance energy security, and promote green growth in India.My mission is to create positive impact and sustainable development through outcome-driven initiatives, such as the National Mission for Enhanced Energy Efficiency, the Standard & Labelling programme, the Zero Carbon Building Programme, and the National Carbon Market. I have successfully triggered a US$12 billion investment in the energy and climate sectors, saved ~69.5 billion units of electricity, and spearheaded innovative and ambitious efforts to decarbonize the building and industrial sectors. I have also established and led partnerships with various stakeholders, including the public sector, the private sector, multilateral, bilateral, and non-governmental organizations, and negotiated and liaised with legal counsel on international collaborations. Furthermore, I have contributed to the thought leadership and knowledge dissemination on energy-related topics, through publications, presentations, and participation in international forums.
