#open to new roles Material Scientist, Cement Chemist, Mineralogist, Building Materials R&DI am a material scientist with an experience of 8 years in cement and mortar composites. I have completed my PhD from Kyung Hee University, South Korea and now I am working as material scientists/ R&D engineer for CO2 clean up at SCW systems, Netherlands .My research area includes smectite clay, cement, and mortar composites. I have worked on developing smectite clay minerals as supplementary cementitious materials to address the problem of low workability and pozzolanicity. Before my Ph.D., I have worked for 1 year at Aditya Birla group to explore alternative mineralizers for white cement for reducing the clinker formation temperature. My key skills are:• Cement Material Research • Cement sample preparation through freeze drying and solvent exchange • Supplementary cementitious materials (clays, silica fume, fly ash) • Rietveld refinement• Cement hydration and mechanical testing of mortar composites• Analytical techniques (XRF, XRD, BET, TGA, FTIR)I am excited to be a part of research dedicated to minimize the CO2 footprint of cement industry and looking forward to contribute more towards carbon neutrality.
Listed skills include Polymer Nanocomposites, Carbon Black, White Cement, Nanoparticles, and 11 others.
