About Saurabh M.

A Digital and Business IT Consultant, An Entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience, who loves to innovate. Been a sportsperson and having represented university and state in various events, brings out the competitive edge and the hunger to succeed. I enjoy seeing technology solutions solve business problems. My first Entrepreneur venture was a chemical trading firm at the age of 23 in India , so yes I started early, did well, travelled extensively, played the guitar in a band and life was good.Driven by ambition and intellectual curiosity, I relocated to the UK, was fortunate to work in Fortune 500 companies, which brought in the right corporate, culture & processes exposure and allowed me to work in diverse cross functional and global teams.I also founded a couple of startups, in software services, ecommerce, SaaS and in Digital Consulting helping businesses transform. I led the digital marketing, product and the engineering portfolios in my ecommerce venture, grew that rapidly to one of the most respected names in online car rentals, which eventually got acquired giving a 5x return to existing investors. This prompted me to move to the US in 2014 as the CTO of the new merged entity. Woohoo ! In 2015, I exited that business & founded tellofy, a pure SaaS product company, which was also part of an startup accelerator. Trust me the product journey and roadmap is so challenging & rewarding I had no idea ! I enjoyed every moment of it. Today I am delighted when I can help my peers, startups, and businesses by sharing my experiences and see the changes as a result of the transformation.  I am also an active member of the Austin startup ecosystem.My achievements have been appreciated & recognized City of Austin, Govt of India for Entrepreneurs Wing. Was honored to be part of the American Austin Business Development delegation representing the City of Austin, TX to Pune, India for the sister city initiative.
