The front end was an Android application that supports Spectrum’s Field Techs.The backend was legacy EJB over WebLogic using Oracle DB. While implementing new technology support like fiber device activations, mesh Wifi Network, he was also working on breaking the monoliths - WebLogic-EJB implementation into Cloud native Spring Boot Microservices. Since this was a brown field implementation, he came up with several indigenous solution to rewrite into microservices and maintain business continuity.He revived Tech Mobile Application which used to crash several times a day to near-zero outages by Tuning Java that now uses only 1-2% CPU, tuning DB now using less than 2 cores vs >30 cores 1.5 years ago.Saurabh developed Java and DB Tuning expertise while he was working on Production development at Oracle and Siemens earlier.As part of the overall architecture vision for the SDP department he designed Common Information Model for TechMobile, that can be used enterprise wide. The CIM is closely aligned with TM Forum GB922 SID model.He also designed and developed Device Qualification Rule Engine used by TechMobile, others.Earlier, he helped UIM inventory model, code optimization and extended it towards microservices helped OSM stabilization.Prior to this, he worked on Oracle OSS product development (UIM, OSM) for 11 years.He traveled around 11 different countries helping Oracle clients performance tune their applications. He has live project experience and expertise in Performance tuning Java Applications, Spring boot microservices, Oracle OSS products, Database, and Weblogic.Other experiences:Prior to Oracle, he was working with Siemens on development of Network management system (NMS), Element management system (EMS) for Optical Transport networks (SDH, SONET, OTN, PKT), Access network, SDH microwave Radio networks, IP DSLAM etc. Corba based TMF814, NGOSS and eTOM, MTOSI for inventory management.
