I served as the Director (and head) of the PPP Unit at the Ministry of Finance in Namibia. My key responsibilities included coordination of PPP policy and regulatory actions in the country and the efficient review and approval of PPP projects by the MoF. I extensively engaged with numerous government ministries and other public bodies to assist in bringing credible PPP projects to market. My responsibilities also included planning and organization of PPP capacity building programs in Namibia, and coordination with development partners on PPPs related initiatives in the country.

Led consulting assignments in a range of infrastructure sectors, and advised both private and public sector clients. For majority of consulting engagements, in addition to undertaking core analytical work, functioned as the assignment engagement manager with overall responsibility of delivery of outputs to the client. Several of the engagements that I have worked on have led to positive investment decisions, and award of PPP projects. Between March 2008 and March 2011 I was based out of Johannesburg (SA) and was responsible for the firm’s business expansion activities in Africa.
