For the backup administration part , my main job was to take backups of client data ranging from file systems to databases and restoring the same as and when required .As a storage administrator , I was responsible for managing EMC storage boxes .Daily tasks include handling issues related to lun allocation , expansion and deletion , zoning , backup failures , performing health checks on servers, installing TSM and Networker packages on clients , troubleshoot storage related issues , daily tape eject and check-in tasks and most importantly , keep the back end infra run smoothly . I have worked on databases like SQL , SAP and exchange and have fair knowledge of Virtualization and OS administration concepts .
