My Job Profile varied based on the company and client requirements. For all my clients I was the point of contact for any technical or management based queries and reporting. Initially when any client came to us, They just had an idea which they wanted to implement. Now the idea was more or less always in its infant stage. They did not have the technical know-how or the understanding of what will be feasible or how to get the desired results. I started with creating an initial documentation of the requirements, Then based on it we did a basic feasibility study which was then shared with the client, This was just a short meeting where we discussed how we can make the idea into reality. Then we came to the drawing board - We started with specification documentation where we got into the details of each requirement/functionality that will be needed in the project. Once the entire requirement setup was finalized then I had a meeting with my team to go over the idea and the project requirements with them. I also wanted to get their input to understand what challenges they think needs to be addressed before the start of the project, plus we wanted to discuss the timelines for the project. Once all these were sorted then, I went back to the client with the final quotation and timeline for the project development, Testing and deployment. I have had the opportunity to work on amazing start-up ideas and also be the project lead in quite a different variety of projects. In the last 12 years, I don't think there is any major industry where I have not been a part of any project development. As the project manager i was not just taking care of the clients while the project was in development stage but also after the project was live, I was the one who interacted with the client to make sure the project was running smoothly and regular maintenance was done along with future development, enhancements, documentation, reports, diagrams and process flows for the project lifecycles.
