Currently Heading entire Manufacturing Operations, Test (HW &SW) & Product Quality of complex LIDARs (Short range/Long range) as well as other complex Vehicle systems enabling Autonomous driving reporting directly to COO. As a part of this role I am directly responsible to lead a team of Mfg Process Engineers, OPMs, Product Quality and HW/SW Test Operations. Leading bringing up multiple CMs in all aspects of LIDAR manufacturing and product ramp from scratch. My responsibilities include but not limited to achieving goals for product design maturity, execution of OPS builds, time to market, cost, quality, product availability, Factory bring up and much more.• Developed entire out sourcing strategy (from in house mfg) from scratch including supplier selection, contracts, SOW, CM selection.• Leading cross-functional reviews with Development, Materials, Quality, TPM and Advanced Manufacturing Engineering teams to review component, product and factory readiness.• Leading OEM Operations team in planning and executing supplier qualification builds, fixture validation builds, development builds and new product ramps.• Plan capacity, budgeting and overall factory readiness for operations related to final assembly of the self-driving car electronic modules.• Directly responsible for influencing product manufacturability, testability and supply chain flexibility to ensure the manufactured product meets design requirements while achieving cost and supply objectives.• Managing multiple US based Big named CMs as well as Asia based CMs from end to end to meet the committed build plan.• Managing all project-related communications directly with Waymo CEO; escalate key issues and present options for resolution to the cross-functional Executive team thru the new product reviews, Entry/Exit Gate reviews etc.

As a part of NPI Product Operations Org I was directly responsible to lead a team of Managers NPI iPhone & iOS Accessories Product Ops in Cupertino/Asia and Operations Product Managers. As an NPI Operations leader I was directly responsible for bringing up multiple CMs in all aspects of new product development and product ramp. My responsibilities included but not limited to achieving goals for product design maturity, execution of OPS builds, time to market, cost, quality, product availability, stress testing iPhone automation equipment, Factory bring up. • Plan and execute all development builds and rapid ramps of new products.• Drive ramp readiness that include materials, equipment, fixtures, training, documentation, and transition and supply chain plans.• Manage all project-related communications; escalate key issues and present options for resolution to the cross-functional Executive team thru the new product reviews.• Influencing product’s manufacturability, testability and drive responsive supply chains that are optimized for lowest costs, greater operational flexibility, regional fulfillment and highest quality.• Strong leadership skills with an ability to interact with all levels within the organization and express a well thought-out point-of-view.• Partner with Cross-functional management teams like TPM, Quality, Marketing, REL, EPM, DFM, Enclosure teams, Module TPMs, GSMs, PD etc. to ensure product design maturity and hence ramping iPhone in expected volumes per Planning request.• Drive initiatives and task forces to achieve optimal yield targets, UPH, Operator efficiency and hence achieving avail targets at launch. I acted as a primary leader and interfaced between Operations, Product Design, Engineering, TPM, Quality, GSM, SBE/SQE, REL, Marketing, Finance and AppleCare teams for successful product launches and monitoring EFFA data post launches.

Matrix manage team members from across all functions within Operations to develop new product plans. Worked on a US-Army sponsored Project on VEESS.Complete Design, Fabrication & Installation of smoke generator for a 2.5 Ton army truck, Land Tamer and Hummer-V.• Designed a compact smoke obscurant system in Pro-E & Unigraphics.• Fabricated & installed a fully automatic& compact the smoke obscurant system with fully operational controlsin the truck which can be easily operated by US Army soldiers at war.• Design phase included finding bill of materials, flow rates, calibration etc.• Smoke obscurant system is the most compact system for producing obscurant smoke in vehicles at war.I have good hands on experience with various designing methods and free form tools. I modeled a prototype that will be installed at "New York HALL OF SCIENCE" with help of UNIGRAPHICS and a FREE FORM package by-SensAble Tech.

• I worked in Supplier Development and Engineering Design Department. Here, I was responsible for developing new suppliers / vendors for various outsourced products. This department helped me hone my mechanical engineering and negotiation skills. I played a major role in cost saving for the company by getting various parts outsourced from vendors. I also underwent an intensive training module in various fields such as Plastic molding on Injection, Blow molding machines, development of various rubber parts to be used in various automobiles. (Of the makes of GM, FORD, CATERPILLAR, HONDA, MARUTI, TOYOTA etc).• Responsible for design, development and implementation of Components that meet customer requirements using AutoCAD (2D and 3D Modeling).• Ensured proper documentations for customer approvals and worked as a liaison between customers and company.
