I am a high-performing Trader and Investment Banker with specialization on Financial markets. In my corporate career, I worked mostly on client relationships side, and then left my job to pursue my dream of full time algo-trading, to generate consistent, reliable and scalable returns though a process driven workflow.Currently, with my partners, I run Meru Capitals, a Algo Trading firm managing 700 cr+ capital. We manage a complex suite of algorithms to trade Exchange listed securities, most of it intraday and in options. I have also written our software stack, Kanhoji. which places 10Million+ orders in a month. Kanhoji is distributed, high speed, event driven, multi client, multi strategy, multi broker trading engine written in python /C++ supported by a Web interface. Before this, I have been an investment banker for most part where I was acquiring and managing corporate accounts in North India, by providing solutions on the financial markets side. During this phase, I developed a deep understanding of my clients, financial markets as well as the skills for managing the financial risks arising out of rapidly fluctuating markets. This helped me earn deep relationships at senior client levels as well keen understanding of markets.During this time, I developed a fascination for trading systems, electronification and dis-intermediation, and worked at multiple projects around these themes.
