Benova is a German startup building a revolutionary video banking platform.It is revolutionary because it replaces the existing physical bank branches with kiosk boxes as well as provide web and mobile video interfaces to carry out the regular banking activities. The product is already deployed for a German bank in the Leipzeig cantonment for last 4 months and it has already replaced 10+ small bank branches with the kiosk boxes. Customers visiting the kiosk boxes can do anything and everything they can do in a physical branch with a video call from the kiosk box. As the Principal WebRTC consultant, I helped them in developing the core video conferencing engine on which the customers now not only communicate with the bank but also carry out their regular banking activities in a seamless manner.

Epecate is a SAAS based virtual classroom platform for schools and colleges in India. The product had live streaming and recording as standard features. The aim of the product was to help teachers in schools and colleges take live-streamed sessions any time anywhere any device i.e. laptop/smartphone. The teacher will have the option to record it as well on the cloud while live streaming. They also can choose to only record a session i.e. short clips/tutorials used for flipped classrooms. There also was an option to record it locally to the hard drive in case of low internet bandwidth. They also could take real-time quizzes and assignments to verify the understanding of the session by the students. There can be up to 1000 participants/students in any virtual classroom at any point in time. The product comes at 3 different flavors 1.
