Project Lead & Senior Software Engineer, Office Engineering Team In the Office Engineering team, I lead projects and write code. I start working on projects by gathering customer requirements, creating features, generating user stories. My responsibilities involve assigning tasks to developers, defining success KPIs, designing and writing code, mentoring junior developers, running SCRUMS, managing product backlog, and ensuring project is launched successfully. These projects enable our customers to push their web services from development box to production Azure in a timely and efficient manner. The web services contribute $5+ B in revenue annually for Office Division. Some of my key contributions are➤ Created a detailed Gap analysis of adopting a new technology, and then created a Product Strategy & Roadmap for next version of our product using that technology➤ Launched Switchboard, the only SaaS based Traffic Management Product, which has been saving 10+ service engineer hours per day and empowering our customers to instantly mitigate live site incidents. Designed, architected and successfully delivered dev-ops model (APIs, client SDK, REST web services, and PowerShell scripts) for Switchboard. The solutions were developed in C# and Angular JS.Created MVP, and then drove engagement strategy to reach 100% customer adoption within 2 months➤ Saved 500+ Microsoft contractor hours by delivering a web application (C# and ASP.NET) that automates customer web service deployments, increasing customer satisfaction by 35%. Filed 1 patent for these algorithms.➤ Guided 1000+ customers via forums and office hours, addressing their questions, performing code reviews, and gathering feedback about feature requests.➤ Performed P&L analysis and financial projections for adopting new technology from Azure; presenting workforce proposals to senior leadership and receiving approval of 4 head count allocated to the project.

I had a wonderful opportunity to work on v1 of Microsoft Access and Access Services. Although, Microsoft Access was there from start, I call this v1 because the Access Services code was all brand new.• Project lead for a feature team of 6 people in Microsoft Access to architect and deliver innovative algorithms for design the backend of Access web services. Improved performance by more than 200% and reduced COGS bymore than 50% and increased scalability by more than 300%.• Filed a patent for these algorithms, and filed two more patents for the web service.• Received performance rating 1 and promotion for two consecutive years in annual performance review.

I worked on the Digital Memories Experience team which built amazing products like Windows Live Photo Gallery and Windows Live Movie Maker. • Designed the test automation framework from scratch. Used modern methodologies like Atomic tests to write a lot of robust automation code very quickly. Since it was a v1 product, we had to write a lot of automation in very little time.• Lead a team of 4 members to build an infrastructure for measuring performance and scalability

Founded a startup for Indian cuisine and cooking enthusiasts, to ship them with “Do it yourself” boxes to learn how to cook healthy Indian meals at home.
