Mastercard Consolidated billing system (MCBS) Provides centralized billing for products and services billed to customers. MCBS supports the billing for all Mastercard branded transactions. MCBS centralizes the billing function for all Mastercard products and services into a single system. Provides customers with detailed billing information for processing services. MCBS process on an average 16 billion transactions per month.The System is collectively comprised of CSG InterMediatE (IME) and CSG SingleView (SV) application. It applies billing rates to MasterCard products and services, generates automated drafts, updates the General Ledger system, and updates billing history files. The system accepts billing transaction information from many different automated and manual sources via a feeder system. Facts and Figures on Mastercard billing system (MCBS):-40 integration points to internal systems -Ability to mediate, rate and bill over 500MM transactions per day -Capable of rating 10M transactions in 20 minutes -Ability to bill 10M events in 70 minutesResponsibilities:• Liaise between the business owners and technical teams• Lead major initiatives that resulted in significant cost savings for billing/Mastercard• Provided technical and business expertise across multiple MasterCard lines of business in support of billing.• Partnered with cross functional teams to address opportunities into objectives and implementing technical solutions to improve business processes• Responsible for program and project communication to business owners, customers and senior management. • Managed development partners including regional teams, and external vendors• Worked with product and regional resources to prioritize and balance development needs against initiatives and customer commitments by managing risk across teams as needed• Perform analysis of business requirements and translate requirements into solution designs and release documents.

• Worked on Intec TSM Intermediate and SingleView, over Unix platform, for Mastercard.• Thorough knowledge on (INTEC IME/SV) Production with UNIX shell scripting and Perl.• Proficient in Mediation and Billing to understand business specifications and design as per the requirements.• Proficient in IntermediatE – Mediation and SingleView tool• Efficient team player with excellent communication skills.• Proficient in understanding business processes / requirements and translating them into technical requirements.• Providing solutions for bugs and Change Requests reported by end customers and worked on the enhancement for the same.• Hands on experience in System Testing, Regression testing and Integration Testing.

• Make patch release, hot fix and release them to System integration testing team to ensure that they are deployable in to the production.• Support the release procedure of new functionalities from a development environment to other environments.• Provide technical advice and support to the testing team on support basis.• Create test plans, conduct unit, regression and integration testing and document those results of testing for a project delivered.• Execute test cases, reproduce and fix the defects reported by global support teams.• Design and Develop helpful tools for Analysts and testers in Perl.• Supported external and internal audit.
