Study utilised an advance planning tool and a hydraulic model considered the impact of reduction of 2051 population by 10%, 20% and 30% on the CAPEX saving for the study areas.- Balaklava Area Water Pressure Management Planning (2013 – 2014)South East Water is in charge of servicing the Balaklava area located at south east of Melbourne. The area historically was experiencing low water pressures during high demand days. A project has been defined to address the deficiencies in the network where number of options were developed and discussed with SEW Water Network Planning team and management and the preferred option submitted to the project team.
