Dorm Manager; Management Associate; Core Advisor

Team work & leadership focused roles. Could work 40+ hr weeks, 12+ hr days. For 3 yrs I was responsible for the oversight of young adult women, up to 48 at once, ranging in ages 16-24. I was involved in their academic, physical, spiritual & relational growth. I had individual as well as group meetings & teaching times with them. I had responsibility in their dormitory, reporting & following through with maintenance issues, safety & health concerns, etc. This included but was not limited to: heating & air conditioning, plumbing (bathroom), electrical, & furniture (beds, drawers, windows, mirrors, etc.). Other duties included- weekly reporting; trimester evaluations; serving in the cafeteria & overseeing prep, service & clean up of meals; Saturday morning special event breakfasts for the Women's Program; Airport transportation (driving 12-18 passenger vans to pick up or drop off individuals to the airport); Event transportation (being a van driver for out-of-state events); a full year of planning & executing weekly training & development for back-bone level Leadership; coordinating Campus Life activities.For 1 year I worked as a recruitment representative in a Call Center.For 1 year I worked as a Warehouse Supervisor in an Operations Department. Responsibilities included taking inventory; keeping warehouse clean; fulfilled needs when supplies were needed to be located, packed, prepared for use. Also operated a Fork Lift as needed.For approx 2 months, I worked in an Events Department, & was on a team responsible for preparation, research, set up, execution & clean up of multiple events for a student body of approx. 200+ young adults. We coordinated with other departments & staff to secure location, food & beverage when needed, supplies within departments & outside sources, speakers, Emcee & performers. Events ranged from dinner Banquets to various indoor & outdoor retreats. We were responsible for overseeing set up which could include tables, chairs, & decoration.
