Lunch and Dinner waitress; providing excellent and timely customer service, taking guests orders, serving beverages and food (multi-course meals from appetizers to dessert), clearing dishes, reset tables, ringing up the bill, handling bill and payment, typically caring for multiple tables and orders at any given time. Also opened and served wine and champagne when needed. Responsibilities included taking inventory; keeping warehouse clean; fulfilled needs when supplies were needed to be located, packed, prepared for use. Also operated a Fork Lift as needed.For approx 2 months, I worked in an Events Department, & was on a team responsible for preparation, research, set up, execution & clean up of multiple events for a student body of approx. 200+ young adults. We coordinated with other departments & staff to secure location, food & beverage when needed, supplies within departments & outside sources, speakers, Emcee & performers. Events ranged from dinner Banquets to various indoor & outdoor retreats. We were responsible for overseeing set up which could include tables, chairs, & decoration.
