As an individual contributor, Savan worked on the next-generation Enterprise SAS Solid State Drive product.- Savan was actively involved in designing and developing performance-critical modules for Enterprise SSD.- He worked on Firmware Bring-up and support for 3D TLC NAND.- He was involved in the design and development of critical features like error handling, power fail handling, firmware mitigation for NAND limitations, etc.- Have been swift in resolving critical bugs.- Experience in analyzing flash bus signals on Logic Analyzer.- Experience in using emulation platforms like Palladium/Denali.- Well-versed with debugging tools like Lauterbach Debugger/Tracer.- Have experience working in an Agile environment/methodology.- Developed unit tests and integration level tests to regress the functionality of different modules.Achievements: Despite being completely new to SSD FW development and NAND-based products and having a steep ramp-up curve, Savan became one of the key FW team members for the media/backed. He succeeded in bringing up firmware for 3D TLC NAND within 2 weeks which was happening for the first time in Seagate.

As an individual contributor, Savan was involved in Firmware Development for MegaRAID 12G SAS/SATA RAID Controller. He worked on the design and development of new features for Device Manager, RAID layer, and Task Management handling. He was actively involved in FPGA Bring-up for next-generation products and worked on bug fixes and enhancements for the legacy product range.Achievements: Multiple Spark awards for demonstrating individual responsibility, excellence, and customer success. Savan transitioned the Firmware from using IBM PPC-based processor architecture to ARM based processor architecture single-handedly.

As an individual contributor, Savan was involved in Firmware Development and bug-fixing activities for a highly available SAN architecture-based RAID Controller firmware. He worked on the product's user interface, device interface layers, and CLI development. He gained expertise in highly available controller management, logical volume management, and media error handling modules.Achievements: Savan received multiple customer appreciation and Shining Start awards for my contributions.Client: Adaptec/IBM.
