With a career starting in the Automotive Manufacturing Industry, where I worked for 7 years. Whilst in this sector I commenced work in a Quality Control role ensuring parts met specifications, promoted to a Warehose Operations role as Team Lead within Despatch coordinating the daily operations for inbound/outbound activities. Commencing with Adairs in 2010 as a contractor conducting various warehouse duties, replenishment, inventory, inbound and dispatch. Promoted to a Team Leader role looking after the Furniture Division - responsible for managing daily operations and a team of 12. Promoted to Supervisor overseeing a larger team with greater responsibilities including inventory management, cost per unit despatched, team performance, KPI's, and attendance. Responsible for Safety and zero LTI's - held record of 2001 consecutive days of no LTI's. Responsibilities for Service Level adherence, fulfilment efficiency. Overall responsibility for building, machine equipment and operation. Engagement with all internal stakeholders focused on continuous improvement undertaking process analysis.Promoted into the DC Manager role in 2017 undertaking all above duties along with taking on responsibility of managing multiple DC's, Online fulfilment, and multiple shifts. Maintaining a focus on Continuous Improvement, reviewing processes and operational functionality. Escalation point for HR related functions, people and performance management.An integral individual within the business who provides advice on people, problem solving, productivity as well as strategical promotions and campaigns. I love the energy, people interaction, fast pace, and the challenges each day brings within the Warehousing sector.
