I am a recent graduate from East Central University. I was a biology pre-dental student who is passionately involved in extracurricular activities. I had the lovely honor of volunteering and assisting in pediatric rehabilitation in physical, speech, and occupational health at Duncan Regional Hospital with their Teen Volunteer Program. Currently looking for a job in a dental office near OKC. I am also a Spanish minor and have had to use my skills several times in a doctor office, and airport. There will always be more vocabulary to learn, but I believe communication is a basic human right and it’s important in the medical field. This semester, I am in a course called medical Spanish that focuses on vocabulary, cultural differences, and conversational Spanish used in health professions. This will help break down the language barrier and provide Spanish speaking individuals with equal care.I love my family and friends, music, mental health, plants, Spanish, and card games. I am engaged to my high school sweetheart! I play the trombone in ECU’s band. I am the president of Active Minds a mental health club at ECU, the suicide prevention hotline is #988. Mental health is just as important as physical health.
