Savannah Boylan founded Olive Branch Strategy and Design (formerly For Democracy) in 2019 with the vision to be the leading voice exploring emerging democratic legitimacy crises worldwide and their effects on multilateral cooperation. Savannah has more than ten year’s experience researching, promoting, and coordinating with government and academic experts to promote democracy. She has worked with the governments of Canada, Georgia, Montenegro, Serbia, South Korea, and the United States.Prior to founding For Democracy, Savannah worked at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars’ Canada Institute in Washington, DC, where she developed strategic projects for the Institute to help educate policymakers and the public on the importance of the US-Canada relationship. In 2013, Savannah served as one of the first accredited Youth Representatives to the United Nations where she advocated for greater youth engagement and served as a featured speaker for numerous UN panels and events. She has also worked for the Government of Georgia’s Ministry for Euro-Atlantic Integration in Tbilisi and with the US Department of State focusing on EU and NATO enlargement policy. Savannah received her master's degree in project management at Georgetown University and earned her B.A. in international relations from Lehigh University, where she was the recipient of the Oles M. Smolansky Award for Academic Excellence in International Relations.A native of Georgia (the state) she typically lives overseas with her fiancé, Ashwin. She has lived in Italy, Scotland, Hungary, and Georgia (the country) bolstering her understanding of wine, local cuisine, Italian language, and, of course, democracy.
