CurrentGreeted and discussed the patient's previous dialysis treatment as-well-as their general health. Collaborating with doctors, physician assistants, and nurses about the patient's treatments and concerns. Collected and recorded vital signs pre, mid, and post dialysis. Continually checked on the patients throughout the treatment and reported anything abnormal to the nurse.Prepared, administered, and recorded medications allowed by state regulations. Prepared, collected, and recorded blood samples and specimen cultures. Setup, operated, cleaned and disinfected dialysis machines and other equipment. Maintained a safe environment for patients and staff by following clinic and state procedures and policies. Restocked medical supplies, disposed and removed biohazardous waste, opened the dialysis clinic, checked the water system, made bicarbonate, and closed the dialysis clinic.Responsible for the preparation, drawing, and packaging of kidney transplant labs. Also responsible for writing the “how to protocol” for transplant labs for the clinic.
