I was the executive administrative assistant to the Executive Pastor at Journey Church. I also led worship every Sunday morning and for the student ministry every Wednesday night.

As a worship leader, it is so much more than just singing some songs every morning. It is believing and understanding every single word that is sung. Being able to Biblically support every lyric. It is preparing a body of people to enter the throne room of Jesus Christ and to fall on our faces in front of Him. I have the honor and privilege to do this for a living. Conversely, there are a lot of technical things that go into worship leading. Including a proficiency in Planning Center and ProPresenter. Also planning set designs and executing them as well as sound engineering are all parts of worship leading.

Make calls to alumni, current students, and parents to inform them of current events going on at Berry College as well as tell them about the "annual fund". The fund is a donation to Berry College to help students with scholarships.

During my time at Mt.Bethel UMC as a worship intern I was able to be mentored by the worship pastor at the church 5 days out of the week. It was a very hands-on experience where I learned to better myself as a worship leader. I helped to plan services as well as learn more about set design and Planning Center.

As a youth intern at Mt. Bethel UMC I was able to work in the student ministry of Mt. Bethel UMC. During this time I led small groups and bible studies as well as lead worship for student events. I was able to organize many events for the students and even had to opportunity to be a mission leader on a mission trip to Belize.
