I am an undergraduate student at The University of Tennessee, Knoxville studying Human Development and Family Sciences: Community Outreach track in the College of Education, Health, and Human Sciences. I am also pursuing a minor in American Sign Language. Through involvement with the Jones Center for Leadership and Service, FUTURE mentoring, my position as VP of Service in Alpha Phi Omega, active Diversity Educator member, WUTK 90.3 FM Music Department member, inaugural member of the UT Success Academy, intern at Big Brothers Big Sisters, and my current practicum placement at Planned Parenthood, I am considerably involved with the university and the greater Knoxville community. Through my involvement, I can apply my knowledge from the classroom to create concrete change in the lives of youth. I am especially interested in application of attachment theory, family systems theory, and development across the lifespan. My CliftonStrengths include connectedness, communication, woo, includer, and relator. I work to incorporate these in my day-to-day life
