I've learned new skills from working with a nonprofit organization. It has taught me skills in my communication through email and over the phone, skills making Google ads, updating and using Google Sheets, and using designing apps like Canva to make professional content.

I helped run a motel with my husband over the summer. I would check people into their rooms, handle reservations, answer phone calls, respond to emails, make social media advertising posts, and communicate needs with the maids.

Operated a checkout stand by scanning items quickly for customers, bagging items, give back correct change or operate computer for payments with debit cards, all while being pleasant and having friendly conversation with the customer.

Assembled cardboard boxes, filled boxes with order for customer, assembled items needed to be gift wrapped, and monitored other employees during COVID-19 to ensure proper use of face masks and social distancing.
