College junior at Utah State University.It has been a long road to figure out my passion, but I finally feel as though I've discovered it. I began discovering this passion when I realized that I enjoyed teaching my 10 years younger than me sister. Thanks to classes in high school I have discovered a true interest in education, specifically the education of young children.It is my dream to become a preK-3 teacher. I love hanging with little kids and love to see the way their brains work and learn. It is so interesting to me to watch as young children try to figure out the world. Probably my favorite thing is to talk with young kids when they are working through something, because hearing their perspectives usually teaches me something new, even in the activity I've planned myself.I have received some classroom experience through internships and classes I've taken. I have had the opportunity to work consistently in a preschool setting, as well as in 2 grade and 5 grade classrooms. I have truly enjoyed all of these experiences and have learned so much.
