About Savannah Whitmire
Graduated Cum Laude in Summer of 2022 with my B.B.A in Accounting. During that time, I worked as a Customer Service Staff at Publix Supermarkets. In the Spring of 2022, I had the opportunity to gain experience filling out 1040's at Turner & Associates CPAs. Following graduation, I completed my audit internship at Mauldin & Jenkins in the Not-for-profit and governmental sectors. At my last internship, I gained experience in a wider variety of tax preparation forms especially partnerships, trusts, and some corporate returns as well.I have gained skills with money compliance laws, Postgre SQL using PG Admin, R using R Studio, Intuit tax software, and Engagement. I served as a graduate assistant to help facilitate class and research teaching methods. I graduated with my Master's in Accounting in December 2023 which gets me one step closer to obtaining my CPA license. I have started taking the exams and hope to pass them in the coming years.
