I am a BA English graduate (with a Technical Writing minor) with an interest in progressing the study and production of literature. I had multiple poetry pieces published in Louisiana Tech’s literary journal, The Quatrain, and for this last year's publication I had the privilege of being Editor-in-Chief! I was Vice President of Louisiana Tech’s Poetry Society for three years, and was the Vice President of my college's chapter of the English Honor Society, Sigma Tau Delta, for the last three years as well. In these roles, I have learned many valuable skills that I will carry with me into my future careers in Editing and Publishing. I think it is important for those around me to understand the value of literature and language in all aspects of life, as it has helped me grow and become who I am today. I am very devoted to my many interests and will find a way to pursue them, even if that involves creating my own way. Anything I do is done to the best of my ability, and I will not hesitate to attempt anything I have an interest in. I am a first-generation college student devoted to the pursuit of knowledge, especially in my field, and am constantly in search of ways to further my strengths and strengthen my weaknesses.
