In my first week at that position, I caught $50,000 worth of over-payments my predecessor authorized and another $30,000 that had been scheduled to be paid. The CEO and the Owner of the company promptly offered me a full time position with a $3/hr increase. When liquidated, besides the Controller and a single guy working collections, I was the last employee let go before the company closed for good. Show less
