I am a Communication & Digital Media and International studies major at Wittenberg University, with a passion for event management and digital marketing. I have recently completed a public space internship at Western & Southern Open, a world-class tennis tournament, where I gained valuable knowledge and skills in event production, facilities and operations, and sponsorship coordination. I also work as a swim teacher and deck specialist at Bear Paddle Swim School, where I demonstrate leadership, people management, and customer service skills.In my internship, I was responsible for preparing and maintaining the public space inside and outside of the site for the tournament, working with a diverse and dynamic team of professionals and volunteers. I also assisted the marketing and sponsorship department with daily events set-up as needed, and learned how to communicate effectively with people from different backgrounds and cultures. I am motivated by the opportunity to create memorable and engaging experiences for the fans, players, and partners of the tournament, and to contribute to the success and growth of the event. I am eager to apply my skills and knowledge to other event management roles, and to bring my enthusiasm, creativity, and collaboration skills to the team.In my next Internship, I was responsible for research and catalogued Manufacturing, riggers, and millwright vendors. Along with that I used my digital media skills to help with promotional videos and advertisements.
