I've spent the last eight years earning my bachelor's degree in Information Technology while taking care of my two daughters. It has been the hardest, most rewarding challenge I've accomplished yet, and I'm looking forward to taking on the next venture. These past eight years have taught me time management skills, how to troubleshoot problems, and how to adjust my strategy and tackle setbacks to achieve my goals. Motherhood teaches you to be a compromising individual that is open-minded to new ways of working while developing the time management skills needed to take care of children and manage a household. Studenthood teaches you how to learn and seek out answers while working with peers to fill in the gaps of our knowledge while also giving you the skills to speak up and present new ideas.
