CurrentSaveABunny is a 501 c3, award-winning, nonprofit, volunteer-based animal rescue organization that rescues 300+ abandoned, abused or neglected animals per year. Marcy Berman founded SaveABunny in 1999, with a guiding mission to help urgent cases of animal neglect, trauma and abuse via both traditional and complementary therapies. All work is funded primarily by donation and staffed by volunteers.SaveABunny, lead by Marcy, is a living mosaic of responsible Fortune 100 marketing and training, aligned with real world business expertise and anchored with the heart and soul of a shaman and artist. SaveABunny is a place of refuge, beauty and healing for animals in need, as well as volunteers, donors and supporters. SaveABunny is widely recognized for delivering compelling and innovative marketing communications, a high success rate for animal rehabilitation and re-homing and developing long-term, life-saving partnerships with municipal agencies/shelters and other groups or organizations. Marcy is a sought after speaker and educator at large scale conferences, such as the Humane Society of Silicon Valley and the California Animal Control Directors Association, in addition to privately run animal agencies, multiple shelters, schools and community events.A success program is SaveABunny's partnership with San Francisco Animal Care and Control (SFACC).In 1999 before SaveABunny, SFACC had a 90%+ euthanasia rate for rabbits. Due to our group's rescue work and the dedication of staff/ leadership at SFACC, the euthanasia rate for rabbits is now close to 0% SaveABunny opposes the production, sale or use of rabbit fur, rabbit skin and rabbit meat. Like all our work, these campaigns are run by volunteers and funded by donation.Donations can be made via PayPal from our website. Checks can be mailed to P.O. Box 2143, Mill Valley, CA 94942. In-kind donations from individuals and businesses are also greatly appreciated to further our rescue work.
