I am an Engineering Geologist at the Italian Institute for Environmental Protection and Research (ISPRA) with strong expertise in the fields of geological remote sensing (e.g. Terrestrial SAR Interferometry, Laser Scanning, Imaging, etc.) and design of monitoring systems for geotechnical and structural assets.Licensed Engineering Geologist (n.492, Lazio - Italy) and former President of LARES – Italian Union of Civil Protection Experts, I have international experience, as a technical consultant, on both infrastructure and research projects.I am a member of the EGU (European Geoscience Union) and AIGA (Italian Association of Applied and Environmental Geology).I am passionate about science outreach, scouting, and team working.

In particular, the research will focus on the analysis and comparison of images from different sensors with the aim of critically evaluating the results and developing methodological approaches and best practices for the elaboration and integrated analysis of remote sensing data for spatial and temporal hazard studies.
