Perform quality inspection on metal components extruded tubing, injection molded components and assemblies according to QSR, FDA and ISO guidelines. Operate Vertex 220 to perform inspections on critical dimensions. Keep track and update SPC charts for machining department and update daily output workflow charts for production.

-Mold Utility Operator –Cleaned and installed molds in Mcneil presses -Bead-blast and co2 molds as part of cleaning procedure.-Cleaned molds in 850 degree salt bath and sonic tank.-Performed Line Clearance & quality checks to make sure parts are within customer specs by measuring diameter using laser mic and dimensional checks using micrometer. -Troubleshoot presses whenever operator had quality issues such as visual and flange related defects. I was required to identify and resolve both operator and mechanical issues.-Department trainer – trained new operators on install and breakdown of presses. Cleaning procedure of molds and different items. How to operate sand blaster and co2 machine. Setting up presses to run new item formulations.-Ran studies and sample orders on new items and product including mix procedure changes and new formulation for customers.
