I joined UNMISS in Jan 2018 at Yambio managing this duty station as OIC. I also dealt with our transport units to organize & conduct convoys with cooperation of the Force units for military protection to convoysI also managed oversize / volume cargo by barge to stations where air / road transport was not available.Along with road, I managed the flight planning of the entire cargo fleet within South SudanI am experienced in terminal operations, warehouse procedures, segregation & storage functions and online systemsI have been selected for troop rotations and have done rotations for Bangladesh, Cambodia & Nepal troops, at times over a 1000 persons from their home country to the mission. Further, I arranged the carriage of arms and ammunition for TCC's; arranging proper packaging of the arms and ammo, sourcing the required permissions from partner airlines as well as local government organizations for transfer to both domestic and international destinationsAt FPU I was the focal point & managed and coordinated the transfer of T/PCC troops and cargo including heavy military COE consisting of APCs, trucks, engineering vehicles and equipment during rotations by air, ocean, barge & road under military protection where requiredI was well versed in the UN ERP system of FSS for inventory monitoring & cargo planning.
