The responsibility was to manage and run the entire centre with its interventional program – under key roles of resource mobilization and fundraising, designing and facilitating training programs, documentation and reporting, accounts and administration work, networking and building on public relations and donor relations related to the APSA – Suraksha centre. Lead the team of 14 members and expanded the work of the Suraksha Centre to include outreach community activities in the neighbouring villages on issues of child and gender rights and child trafficking. Further initiated and started two vocational training centres (computer and tailoring) to support the women and youths in the local region to enhance their skills and have a better livelihood opportunities in the region. At times played the role of informal counsellor to the girls and staff team at the Suraksha Centre, coordinating their care and protection and rehabilitation.
