Originally from Canada, I came to Japan to pursue a master's degree with Tohoku University. Soon after graduating, I attended a coding bootcamp to deepen my knowledge of programming, and I am now working as a QA engineer at a Japanese startup. Through my current position I have gained substantial experience in manual testing; I have also been honing my abilities in automation with different scripting languages. Employing my critical thinking skills to solve puzzles has always been a personal joy of mine, so being able to now implement these skills in my work brings me a great sense of accomplishment. I am also greatly appreciative that my work in QA gives me the space to work both independently and in collaboration with team members. As a quick and enthusiastic learner, I am always ready for the next challenge and am continually striving for improvement. I intend to stay in Japan as a QA engineer long-term and look forward to future opportunities as I proceed on my journey.
