Savrang is an aspiring entrepreneur very passionate about business and wants to create an impact in the business world by adding value to the society and people's lives. His major enthusiasm lies in solving real life problems through solutions and strategies.This is exactly what pushed him to join Symbiate Ventures, a D2C online-first funded gourmet food startup right out of UG in B.Com Honours, Loyola College despite making it to the final interview stages for Wipro, DE Shaw and Deloitte USI with DE Shaw having an offer for 21l. But the entrepreneurship bug in him made him reject all of them to go for a job paying probably less than 1/3rd of it just because he felt he would learn more about business by being in a startup and it was more aligned with what he wants to do ahead.After being the 1st employee (Founder’s Office) at Symbiate Ventures as a Business Analyst and having worked and effectively contributed in all their departments such as Operations, Finance, Marketing, Sales, New Product Development and Seed Fund raising, Savrang joined Hiya Enteprises, a green, eco-friendly startup developing alternatives to plastic packaging and disposables as Business Development Manager. While many wonder and Savrang himself still wonders how he has been in the much-coveted Founders Office role since he graduated while so many dream of it, maybe it’s an indicator to show he is a great generalist and meant to be a Founder himself one day and have his own Founder’s office.“More aligned with what I want to do ahead” is the one philosophy which has guided almost all the major decisions of his life, be it choosing the Commerce stream in 11th and 12th despite being the Science topper in 10th and an avid physics lover, or be it choosing Bcom Honours along with ACCA at Loyola against SRCC or his latest entrant into his book of crazy decisions to choose Masters Union over IIM-B.But that’s just him. People think only fate and time will tell whether his so called “philosophy” will make for a good success story or sheer stupidity but Savrang knows deep down that there’s no room for stupidity and he will make it a success no matter what!
