Private Cloud: Project- Control PlaneControl Plane (CP) provides the platform with several components (OS, ILO, DRBD, VMs, K3s cluster, Containerised services) on which on-premise cloud services can be hosted to effectively manage the workloads, monitor resource health, provide security etc.Disconnected Private Cloud CP-CP platform when not connected to internet, is secure and is FIPS compliant qualifies for CP of disconnected private cloud.Day-0 : Fresh deployment -• Implemented automation scripts to bring up the container services.• Worked on making the CP components FIPS compliant for the Defense based customers.• Enabled the pod and network security on the cluster and the containerised workloads to enforce pod baseline standards and to control/regulate the ingress/egress traffic across different network protocols.Day-N : Existing deployment -• Enhanced the upgrade framework and developed scripts to upgrade the components using argoworflow.• Upgraded the containerised services to use the FIPS based image for Defense based private cloud customers.

Solution Automation Toolkit -• Rest APIs for managing lifecycle operations of the solution- build, update and destroy.• Designed and implemented the APIs using Spring boot framework. Documented the API specifications using the Swagger API.• API based approach enabled easier integration with the internal tools and brought down the overall build time significantly.Cohesive Build of Solution -• Explored the open source Apache airflow tool, designed the build execution flow and led the effort of onboarding the partner teams on this framework.• This integration provided a cohesive user experience to track and monitor the solution build process.

• Integration of XL based calculators for TCO/ROI analysis in the tool through which customers can place orders for the solution.• Developed a spring module that used Apache POI to perform XL based operations.Implemented internal REST APIs to call solution specific calculators based on inputs and provided detailed analysis to the users.• This enabled the users to have data metrics to better evaluate the financial impact on their investment before placing the orders.
