- Convene cross-sector stakeholders across industry, unions, social services and environment organisations to design and implement shared policy and social change goals under the Renew Australia for All banner - Oversee a small team of campaigners who will develop, collaborate on, and implement creative communications and engagement strategies- Assess potential intervention points for the campaign – and consult, build consensus, and collaborate to bring them to life

- Develop and implement gender equality, humanitarian and climate justice campaigns - Drive innovative projects that accelerate change, including Gender Compass- Identify opportunities to drive systemic change through engaging key audiences, partnerships, and participatory initiatives - Represent PIA, and lead where appropriate, in key campaign alliances, international working groups, the Plan International Federation and youth campaign network - Support and work in solidarity with international allies and youth campaigners

Additional responsibilities:- Build the Alliance's capacity to engage with traditional media, through building relationships with journalists, pitching to media and training spokespeople- Facilitate and support developing campaign strategy to respond to climate change in Western Sydney- Contribute to developing fundraising strategy and communications, including appeals

- Build visibility and scale of Sydney Alliance campaigns digitally, primarily focusing on climate justice- Profile campaigns in traditional media through working with journalists, training staff and volunteers as spokespeople, and building media infrastructure- Decentralise digital campaigning through building the capacity of staff, volunteers and organisations in the Alliance

- Develop digital actions for campaigns, including petitions and email actions, and mobilise base to take action through email blasts and social media- Support Environment Victoria’s Organising program through assisting local groups digitally (e.g. training, social media, website support, local media stories)- Develop communications component of Stop AGL Gas campaign strategy- Create content (including videos and graphics) to achieve campaign outcomes, and respond to breaking environmental news- Convene First Nations Solidarity Action Group

• Lead economic justice campaigns in Sydney and Melbourne• Organise weekend training retreats for 40 young people • Organise Young Votes Roadtrip, Campaign Launch, stop and dials and other actions in strategic locations

• Develop digital infrastructure for community organising at the ICV: including a website, CRM and social media• Contribute to the development of the My Vote Matters campaign strategy • Oversee the development of a policy scorecard

- Grow and mobilise a grassroots movement of young people- Build local networks and community alliances in targeted and strategic locations- Implement and utilise a broad range of social change methods and tactics- Develop materials to support strategies and plans in youth activism- Develop pathways between the ASRC’s schools program and youth activism- Develop innovative digital strategies to engage young people in the movement - Measure and report on the effectiveness of youth activism, recruitment and retention and other youth projects

• Coordinating grassroots campaigning operations around the country• Managing seven outreach coordinators in every state to successfully execute campaigning strategy • Developing campaigning strategy in collaboration with the Campaigns Leadership Team, as informed by conversations with external organisations• Ensuring training resources are made consistently available to Oaktree’s grassroots volunteers

• Developing recruitment strategy to expand our volunteer base, in conjunction with the broader Organising and Campaigning Teams• Writing resources to facilitate the successful implementation of campaigns• Building partnerships with community groups, schools and university clubs• Recruiting and managing a team• Actively diversifying recruitment streams

• Creating a 10-hour curriculum for a particular text• Writing a 10,000-word study guide• Delivering content to groups of people (from 20 to 50) • Facilitating discussions between people (from 5 to 15)• Providing one-on-one tutoring
