CAUDIT is leading the formation and coordination of an exciting new collaborative initiative – TheAustralasian Higher Education Cybersecurity Service (AHECS).AHECS aims to help safeguard the intellectual property and reputation of Australasia’suniversities and research members by proactively supporting the adoption of practices designed to mitigate risk and counter ever-increasing cybersecurity threats.Through AHECS, CAUDIT will collaborate with the sector to leverage and grow cybersecurity services which support and supplement universities’ own services through engagement, advice, advocacy, training and direct operational support.

The Director, Security and Infrastructure is responsible for ensuring the University’s digital computing, production environment and communication network is secure, reliable, cost effective and delivered in line with agreed service levels.
