Hello! I am currently a student worker at Missouri State University, and am on track to graduate in the Spring 2024 semester. I have always had a strong interest in computers and information systems, among other things, and am excited to be in the IT industry. I am a Management and Leadership minor, and have a passion for the human element of IT. My strengths lie in communication, organization, and an ability to learn quickly. I am a strong believer in doing things right the first time. Having studied both IT and Human Resource Management, I am a strong proponent of work-life balance, and hope to find an organization that will value me both for my skills, and as a person. I have spent the last three years as a student employee for College of Business Computing at Missouri State University, and have enjoyed my time in that position very much. My role in the department consists primarily of supporting faculty who may encounter issues in their classroom or office, fixing desktop, network, printer, and audio/video issues regularly. My time at Grand River Technical School and Missouri State have both taught me countless lessons that I will take with me into the field full time, and I take pride in helping the other student employees with less technical experience with learning new skills. I am active in the Theta Sigma chapter of Sigma Nu here at Missouri State, and have served on the Executive Board for two years now as both the LEAD Chairman (Member Development) and the Recorder, among other things. If there is one thing that my time in school and in my fraternity chapter has taught me, it is to take pride in your work, even if it goes unseen, as often times that is what the team requires.
