I have extensive experience in engineering and have also worked in the impact space. In a career of 18 years, I have worked extensively with different technologies in various domains. I live in Pune with my wife, 2 very naughty kids, and parents. I find my time flies while coding and playing with kids. -- I have a deep understanding of cloud platforms, especially AWS. I have hands-on experience in designing solutions on AWS. -- I am a developer at heart with experience in coding in languages such as Java, C#, Javascript/Nodejs.-- I am extremely passionate about engineering processes, improving productivity, and quality of software development-- I have done some deep engineering work with product companies such as 24/7Software. I architected some of the key product features; Conceptualized and designed a scheduler microservice. Reengineered the development processes to bring down the average lead time from 22 days to 13 days____________________________________I believe that -- simple is beautiful -> avoid over-engineering-- be very cautious in adopting a new tool/ technology -> don't prove what all a new tool/ technology can support; prove why an existing tool/ technology cannot support a new use case-- agile/ scrum process need a lot of education -> teams adopting scrum or any other agile process not only need to educate other non-tech functions about scrum values/ processes but also such teams need to constantly question their belief system and values____________________________________I have been on a spiritual path for quite some time now. I have been an avid reader and follower of Osho and for the past 3 years now I am a disciple of Acharya Prashant. With the lockdown starting in 2020, I took a small step towards doing some meaningful work that can fulfill me. I along with my wife founded "Adopt A family", an initiative to provide food and ration to the most underprivileged section of society. Today the initiative serves more than 100 families monthly and is on its path to making the families self-reliant. These small steps gave me the courage and push to join the social development sector and work with NGOs to help leverage technology to further missions.
