Established in 1994, Saxon Durrant's business Metroretro Ltd supplies clients with a mix of original vintage furniture along with handmade bespoke pieces. The business saw initial success in the early 2000s, supplying the reclaimed and handmade mix to many pub and bar interiors throughout the UK for Spirit Group, mainly their BRB and Firkin brands.Visual merchandising and retail display projects added to the mix during these years with the business regularly working with brands such as Diesel, Fat Face, Timberland, Ralph Lauren and Next. In subsequent years, and to date, office designers and specifiers have also looked to the business to supply co-working tables, reception counters, shelving and various storage solutions.From boardroom tables through to decorative props, sustainability is at the heart of the business. Reclaimed materials are incorporated at every opportunity giving both character and depth to any scheme, be it customer facing or a private work setting.
