I teach language(Chinese/Mandarin) in context to students of age ranging from 2 to 6. Songs, games, realia and other learning materials are to be designed and tailored to the needs of my students here, so that they can learn a new language in a fun and stress-free manner. Students are often put in groups or pairs to carry out tasks, and co-teaching is in place to match the main topic of the week so that the whole learning experience can be more authentic and relatable for students across all subjects. Formative assessments are designed by means of instant levelled Q&As, simple listening-and-drawing tasks and some other high-order works that require students to showcase their cognitive abilities as well as their prior knowledge/skills.
