I am a machine learning researcher and computer engineer. I like to solve real world detection problems, usually involving a time series analysis with data science and statistics.My current research interests focuses on advancing ML research, specifically in the areas of large language models (LLMs), computer vision, and multimodal systems. I am particularly interested in using AI to address real-world challenges particularly in object detection through natural language understanding in various domains. I am always open to discussing my research and exploring collaboration opportunities. (Please note: This is a personal research interest and is not related to my full-time role at AMD)I currently work as a Senior Software Development Engineer at AMD, where I develop and optimize hybrid SFT LLMs for automated code review and internal code compliance for software releases. My role involves developing and deploying scalable LLM solutions for code review as well as building efficient runtime architectures for machine learning workloads.As a PhD candidate at Duke University, my research has been centered on developing deep learning models for disease progression prediction in medical images, with a focus on time-series analysis using CNN-LSTM networks. I previously worked at Amazon as an Applied Scientist Intern, improving Alexa FireTV’s search accuracy with a BART-Large Seq2Seq model, and at the Humans and Autonomy Lab, where I developed a drone detection system using machine learning and audio signal processing. Some facts about me:1. I received a Bachelor of Technology (Honors) from IIT Kharagpur in Aerospace Engineering.2. I am a recipient of the prestigious KVPY fellowship awarded by the Department of Science and Technology, India.3. I am fluent in Python and have a working knowledge of Java. I have also worked with Matlab for projects in control systems.4. I usually use Python as the go-to language for statistical analysis, but I have also used Stata and R in previous projects.Fun facts:1. I am fascinated with Autonomous Systems. I was briefly a part of Autonomous Underwater Vehicles as a control systems team member in my undergrad.2. I was the Team Captain for the Product Design team. Our device, Parkinson's Disease Detector won the Product Design Competition that year. 3.
