Marine Robotics is a very niche field for research in my country. However, as the technical advisor of Bracu Duburi Team, I have been giving my best to promote and practice underwater robotics by utilizing all the available resources. I have also been simultaneously working to create solutions that cater to the needs of Bangladesh’s marine and other aquatic industries. Recently, we participated in the Robosub2023 (California, USA) and won 2nd position worldwide.My current agendas as the Technical Advisor are,1. Develop an ROV capable of conducting rescue and inspection tasks in Bangladesh. 2. Test existing rovers in natural water bodies ( Lake, River and Sea ) to figure out their limitations ad prospective applications.

As a team lead My responsibilities were to develop a new version of AUV that could surpass the capability of the existing design. I designed a new rover with industrial-grade T100 thrusters and implemented PID control for improved stability. We also tested Pixhawk-based Ardusub Firmware for control. However, we stuck to our own firmware due to its reliability and flexibility.

I am currently appointed as a part-time researcher for “AI-based Disaster Risk ReductionProject” Funded by European Union Civil Protection, Humanitarian Aid and Action Aid. My responsibilities are as follows:1. Conduct Research and Development under the guidance of Principal Investigator (PI).2. Report your Research and Development to Research Assistant (RA) Mr. Shourobh.3. Conduct theoretical research.4. Design and Implement AI frameworks.5. Collect primary and secondary data and annotate or level those.6. Responsible for Installing hardware, configuring server and developing software, IoTsystems and Apps assigned by RA.7. Attend Regular meeting called by RA or PI.8. Present and Demonstration of the system to SUPER consortium.9. Cooperate RA to prepare Instruction Manual, final research and technical report.

Contractual Research assistant to Dr. Tushar Bharati and Adnan M. S. Fakir. Completed Projects are, 1. Preparing and processing dataset of Night Light Data from NASA LAADS archive using Python and Qgis-based automation codes.2. Create a detailed dataset on Violence Against Women in Bangladesh scraping, categorizing 10 years of newspaper archives and detecting relevant articles for post-processing and analysis.3. Developed a Traffic congestion dataset of 10 years in 64 districts of Bangladesh from Google Maps and Google Traffic API | web automation and scraping.

Key Responsibilities: Leading and supervising robotics project, taking workshops and classes, authorizing club regular indoor & outdoor events and exhibitions, taking nonadministrative major decisions, co-ordaining department directors.Key Achievements: Visiting several renowned schools and colleges with Robotics projects, Organising Intra University Tech carnival at Bracu Premises, Organising a number of workshops, motivated number of students to participate in national and international robotics competitions, Introduced industrial collaboration to the club regarding event sponsorship. Initiated work for an annual Magazine publication.

Key responsibilities were to come up with project ideas and prototyping them, taking workshops in various disciplines of Robotics, creating online content and sourcing hardware equipment for the Robotics Lab.

Worked as Robotics Engineer with CRID-USA under Channel I to conceptualise the first ever robotics based reality show of Bangladesh "Esho Robot Banai" ("Let's Make Robots").Key Responsibilities: supervising robotics projects, prototyping, generating ideas for implementation, Analyse working environment for the contestants, designing robot props for exhibition.

Worked under the Supervision of Mehedi Shams, a Founder of CRID-USA , to create a number of innovative industrial solutions using Robotics and Automation as they started their journey in Bangladesh. Key responsibilities were to make prototype of Robotics Project Ideas aiming at solving local problems. The main challenge of the job was to achieve close to industrial grade efficiency in prototypes by only using materials that are easily found or manufactured in Bangladesh and are also low cost. .Moreover, alternative methods of Mechanical/3D Designs were tested for the prototypes keeping local makers in mind.

As the mechanical Lead, I was assigned with the task of developing a 6-DOF manipulator for the rover. I began by thoroughly researching and selecting the most suitable materials and components to ensure durability and precision in the manipulator's movements. Then after forming a team, I employed CAD software for detailed design and simulation, allowing us to refine the manipulator's structure and optimize its performance. We used 3D printing, CNC machining, and laser cutting to fabricate the manipulator components with precision.One of the most significant achievements was the implementation of inverse kinematics support, which allowed us to precisely control the end effector's position and orientation. We integrated sensors and feedback systems to ensure real-time adjustments, enhancing the manipulator's accuracy and adaptability.Alongside I designed and finalized a system for GPS and Compass-based autonomous maneuver.Helped manage the team and Trained Juniors in the rover communication system

1.Wireless Communication Equipment: Research, select, and integrate advanced wireless communication equipment, including routers and high-gain antennas, optimized for the harsh Mars Society Desert Station environment, ensuring reliable data transfer and reception.2. Camera System Integration: Led the integration of high-quality FPV and IP cameras into the rover's design, including hardware interfaces and control software, ensuring real-time monitoring and high-resolution imaging capabilities.3. Communication System Optimization: Conduct extensive testing and optimization of the rover's communication system, implementing error correction mechanisms, signal processing techniques, and adaptive modulation schemes to maximize data throughput in the challenging analog Martian environment.4. Camera Calibration and Testing: Oversee rigorous calibration and testing of cameras for accurate image capture and streaming in the simulated Martian atmosphere, including color correction, lens distortion correction, and exposure control.5. Documentation and Standardization: Maintain comprehensive documentation of communication and camera system specifications, designs, and procedures, adhering to industry standards and best practices for reproducibility and future reference.

As a group of friends, we founded the Club after addressing the necessity of students being aware of their roles towards their community. We visited various small schools and deprived communities and tried to provide them necessary training and Aid.

Key Responsibilities: Source and design components for the online robotics kit shop, to test and write tutorials on new modules and sensors, to design robotics kits, to generate ideas for expansion.

Mostly participated in contests to test and flourish my vector art and graphic designing skills in illustrator and Photoshop. Designed several official banners, visiting card templates and logos.
