U-INSPIRE Alliance is an Asia Pacific Youth and Young Professionals Alliance in Science, Engineering, Technology, and Innovation (SETI) for Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) and Climate Change.Our vision is to create strong coordination and collaboration in empowering Youth and Young Professionals in Science, Engineering, Technology, and Innovation in Disaster Risk Reduction at the Global Level.This network was declared in Jakarta (Jakarta Declaration) on 20th September 2019.

Under the "Supporting the Community Natural Disaster Resilience Response through Promoting Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) Awareness Training and Provision of Emergency Response Kits in the Eastern Region" program, I meticulously conducted risk assessments, hazard mapping, vulnerability assessments, and risk analysis for each of the 40 rural communities in Eastern Afghanistan, focusing on floods, avalanches, landslides, earthquakes, and wildfires. These assessments were tailored to the specific needs and characteristics of each community, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their unique risks and vulnerabilities. By incorporating these findings into the Community Emergency Plans, I was able to provide targeted and effective strategies for disaster preparedness and response, ultimately enhancing the resilience of these communities against natural hazards.
